Ministerial Letter of Intent
Fellowship
By fellowship, we mean spiritual unity with all groups and persons of like precious faith throughout the world who wish to enjoy this blessed fellowship in Christ.
Statement
We believe in the fundamental principle of the death, burial, and resurrection of JESUS Christ.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.” - 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
We believe in repentance, baptism in the Name of the Lord JESUS Christ, and being filled with the Holy Ghost with scriptural evidence of speaking in tongues.
“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” - Acts 2:4
“Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the Name of JESUS Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’” - Acts 2:38
Purpose
To fulfill the prayer of Christ as found in John 17:21.
“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” - John 17:21
To help bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ according to Galatians 6:2.
“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” - Galatians 6:2
To better present the Gospel of Christ to the entire world:
“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” -John 13:35
Plan
That each church or group remain sovereign, and each minister be answerable to their own organization for their conduct and teaching.
That personal fellowship and association be left solely to the individuals involved according to Ephesians 4:1-3&13.
“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to have a walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” - Ephesians 4:1–3
“Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” - Ephesians 4:13
